According to the locals, the archaeologist arrived to in the village three weeks ago. He worked on the mysterious excavations with a woman named Farkas (Wolf), and they were very secretive. Lepesnyi stayed at the local inn. No one remembers anything further.
He was last seen by two students from the local elementary school: Zénó K and Mario L. According to these witnesses, on their way to school, they spotted the middle-aged archaeologist in front of the tent, which covered the excavation site. He was muttering gibberish and smiling, while holding up his hands. Mario L. watched him as he slowly disappeared starting from his legs. He left his bag behind on the ground. His records and some letters addressed to a certain S.T. were found in the bag.
The case is being investigated by the police involving experts.
